Started early at the deserted Land's End visitor centre with the whole of the country ahead of me.
Setting off around the coast (passing the shipwrecked rusting hull of the RMS Mülheimf) I soon cut in land at Sennen Cove.
Inland I head forwards a couple of carns - Carn Brea and Carn Euny. I was alone at Carn Euny wandering the ruins of the iron age villages with it's surviving fogou or underground passage.
Final stretch of the first day over fields and along country lanes into Penzance.
